endosQ offers specialist and standard gastroenterology and endoscopy services. We have specialist practice management support. We are committed to delivering expert, individualised care to patients and their families in Queensland. We currently have clinics in Mackay and Paddington (Brisbane), and we are actively expanding.
History of endosQ
Mackay Endoscopy, the forerunner to endosQ, was established in 2008 by Dr A James Daveson, MBBS(Qld) FRACP. Dr Daveson is accredited with the Gastroenterology Society of Australia (GSEA) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Dr Daveson’s specialist research and clinical areas of interest include: coeliac disease, small bowel imaging techniques such as capsule endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease and iron deficiency anaemia.
Dr Daveson grew up in Mackay and has chosen to travel weekly in order to provide a service to the region that traditionally was not available without travelling to a major city.Dr Daveson’s Researcher ID
Gastroenterology and endoscopy services
Dr Daveson has been providing services throughout the state of Queensland since 2008, initially with services in Mackay, and we recently opened endosQ Paddington (in Brisbane) to ensure continuity of care and further reach throughout Queensland.
Our specialist gasterontology and endoscopy services, includes standard gastroenterology techniques and innovative procedures, such as improved colonosocopic techniques for bowel cancer screening, a variety of capsule endoscopy tools and double balloon enteroscopy. We also offer dedicated investigation and management pathways for patients with coeliac disease.
Each year we treat thousands of patients and we have published our adenoma detection measures of colonoscopy quality in peer-reviewed journals.
Quality services in rural areas
endosQ was established in order to provide expert, individualised care to patients and their families throughout Queensland, and due to our success we are actively expanding. We invite contact from you if you would like to discretely discuss options regarding involvement.
